Job summary

CHEC CONSTRUCTION (M) SDN BHD is seeking an HSE professional to manage the designated site area, conduct HSE audits, and ensure compliance with national standards. You will coordinate with subcontractors and site workers, develop orientation programs, and generate safety reports.

The role requires at least three years in construction, OYKSSS/DOSH registration, and fluency in Mandarin, English and Malay. You will drive toolbox talks, maintain safety documentation, and support permit-to-work

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years of experience in the construction industry.
• OYKSSS registration with DOSH.
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and standards.
• Knowledge of safety management systems and best practices.
• Strong documentation and presentation skills.
• Good management, leadership and time management abilities.
• Fluent in Mandarin, English and Malay.

Job description

Take full responsibility in controlling designated area of responsibility.

Conduct audit and inspection of HSE system for effective site control.

Assures compliance with organization and national HSE standards.

Coordination with Subcontractor's Safety and site workers.

Create and administers orientation program for project employees.

Generate reports on a regular basis.

Coordination with Subcontractor.

Develop solution to improve site safety condition.

Responsible for adopting and impleting company's SHET program.

Prepare, maintain, interpret and communicate records, reports, or documents that may be required to meet corporate or regulatory requirements, including monitoring application of SHET standards.

Carry out periodic inspections and mock drills for checking the efficiency of ERT team member.

Assisting construction team for the implementation of Permit to work system.

Monitoring tool box talks, preparation of safety bulletins and promoting HSE awareness.

Maintaining and controlling safety documents, HSE Statidtics, Manual and Procedures.

REQUIREMENTS :

Minimum three (3) working in construction industry.

Possess OYKSSS registered with DOSH.

Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and standards.

Knowledge of safety management systems and best practices.

Knowledgeable in documentation and presentation.

Good management and leadership skills with responsible attitude.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage projects and priorities simultaneously.

Strong written and verbal communication skills in (Mandarin), English & Malay. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of accountability and responsibility.

Proficient with MS Word, Excel and Power Point Presentation applications.
