Job summary

China Construction Development (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Site Supervisor to coordinate construction works at project sites in Kuala Lumpur. You will ensure works progress smoothly according to drawings, specifications, and plans, while coordinating sub-contractor activities and maintaining safety standards.

The role requires 5+ years in main construction projects and a Diploma or Degree in related fields.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in main construction projects.
• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, M&E, or related disciplines.
• Strong communication, punctuality, responsibility, and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor sub-contractor activities at project site according to drawings, specifications, construction plans and work instructions.
• Monitor work quality and ensure compliance with project requirements and safety regulations.
• Prepare and submit daily site reports to the Project Manager.
• Attend site and technical meetings with clients, consultants and relevant parties.
• Arrange regular coordination meetings with workers and sub-contractors to align with the schedule and resolve site issues.
• Report to the immediate superior on daily project progress and site matters.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties and tasks as assigned by the superior.

Job description

Coordinate construction works at project site, ensuring works are completed smoothly and according to project requirements.

Coordinate and monitor sub-contractor activities at project site, ensuring all works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications, construction plans, procedures and work instructions.

Monitor work quality and ensure compliance with project requirements and safety regulations.

Prepare and submit daily site reports to the Project Manager.

Report to the immediate superior on daily project progress and site matters.

Arrange regular coordination meetings with workers and sub-contractors to ensure progress is aligned with the targeted schedule and resolve site issues.

Attend site meetings and technical meetings with clients, consultants and relevant parties.

Perform other ad-hoc duties and tasks as assigned by the superior.

Requirement

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in main construction projects.

Minimum Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural, M&E or related disciplines.

Good communication skills, positive working attitude, punctuality, strong sense of responsibility and ability to work independently.

Required skills: MS Project, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
