Job summary

Tristar Global Sdn Bhd is seeking an Operations & Shipping Officer/Executive in Selangor. The role focuses on coordinating import/export shipments, liaising with carriers, and ensuring timely delivery within a fast-paced trading environment.

The ideal candidate has a diploma/degree in logistics or related fields and 1–2 years of experience, with proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia. The office is located in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Business Studies, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in shipping/logistics operations preferred; import/export background prioritized.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia; additional languages an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor import/export shipments from cargo readiness through to delivery.
• Liaise with shipping lines, freight forwarders, overseas agents, transporters, suppliers, and customers to ensure smooth shipment execution.
• Arrange vessel bookings, trucking, packing, and customs clearance in line with schedules.
• Monitor shipment status and provide timely updates to internal departments and customers.
• Handle shipment-related issues, delays, and roll-overs, providing effective solutions.
• Verify freight charges, shipping invoices, and related costs.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and shipping regulations.
