Job summary

MAYON FOOD SDN. BHD. in Ipoh, Malaysia, is seeking a diligent Purchasing and Logistics Assistant to support procurement, budgeting, inventory control, and daily logistics tasks across local and export activities.

You will find suppliers, compare prices, input stock levels into the system, coordinate packing and documents (proforma and commercial invoices, packing lists, BLs), track shipments, and assist management with ad-hoc duties to ensure timely delivery and proper filing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare proforma invoice and commercial invoice
• Prepare packing list
• Update shipment group with status
• Book containers and coordinate with production and logistics
• Follow up with forwarder on ETD/ETA
• Track shipments and provide tracking numbers
• Enter payment details in autocount system
• Open PO for suppliers and local customers
• Prepare sales contracts and send to customers
• Assist with import/export permits and related documents
• Assist management with ad-hoc duties
