Job summary

Coherent Corp. is seeking a Shipping & Logistics Coordinator to handle export procedures, documentation flow and outbound activities in a 100% onsite role in Ipoh, Malaysia.

The role requires coordination with forwarders and internal teams to meet OTD targets and ensure compliance with ISO 9001/14001 policies. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent and at least 2 years of shipping/logistics experience in an MNC environment with high mix high volume

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent is required.
• At least 2 years of relevant shipping/logistics experience in an MNC with high mix high volume manufacturing.
• PC literate with spreadsheet applications.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed customer expectations and on-time delivery targets (OTD 95%).
• Coordinate export procedures and documentation flow.
• Assist and support all shipping import/export activities as needed.
• Be aware of ISO 9001 & 14001 procedures and policies.
• Drive project improvements as required.
• Oversee outbound activities including shipment verification, booking confirmations, tracking, and billing verification.
• Coordinate with inside sales/planners for special requests and Oracle Transportation Management entries.
• Respond to queries from couriers, customers and forwarders.
