Job summary

AMOS Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Shipping Executive to manage all shipment and logistics activities, ensuring timely, accurate, and cost-effective delivery of goods. The role interfaces with warehouse, logistics providers and customers, enforcing compliance and proper documentation.

Key responsibilities include preparing shipping docs, coordinating freight, monitoring OTIF delivery, and maintaining records.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process shipping documents (invoices, packing lists, shipping labels)
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, courier companies, and transporters for timely shipment dispatch
• Schedule shipments and monitor delivery timelines to ensure on-time delivery (OTIF)
• Track shipment status and proactively resolve delays or delivery issues
• Ensure all shipments comply with local and international shipping regulations
• Communicate shipment updates to customers and internal stakeholders
• Prepare and verify documentation for customs clearance and declarations
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, including tracking details, invoices, and delivery confirmations
• Generate and submit reports on shipping activities, costs, and performance
• Coordinate closely with warehouse team to ensure stock readiness prior to shipment
• Support inventory checks and assist in resolving discrepancies related to shipment items
• Handle customer complaints related to shipping issues (delays, damages, incorrect deliveries)
• Identify opportunities to improve shipping processes, reduce cost, and enhance delivery performance
• Collaborate with Sales, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Operations teams to ensure smooth execution of shipments
• Maintain clear and timely communication with all stakeholders
• Perform SAP transactions related to goods movement, shipment processing, and Proof of Delivery (POD) updates
• Carry out any other duties assigned by Supervisor or Management

The Shipping Executive is responsible for managing and coordinating all shipment and logistics activities to ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective delivery of goods.

This role acts as a key control point between warehouse, logistics providers, and customers, ensuring all shipping processes, documentation, and compliance requirements are properly executed.

The position plays a critical role in supporting On-Time In-Full (OTIF) delivery, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency, while ensuring compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
