Job summary

American Air Filter Manufacturing Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a detail-oriented specialist to manage import, export and air freight operations in Malaysia.

The role involves liaising with customs and forwarders, arranging shipments, and preparing export documents to ensure smooth logistics flows. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics or Shipping and have at least 1 year of relevant experience; fresh graduates are welcome.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Supply Chain/Logistic/Shipping or any discipline required.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in Shipping/Logistic preferred; fresh graduates encouraged to apply.
• Proficiency in Windows and MS Office; SAP knowledge is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage import/export and air freight operations.
• Liaise with customs and forwarders for shipment arrangements.
• Prepare export shipping documents and loading plans.
• Coordinate all inbound/outbound shipments and inquiries from other departments.
• Ensure compliance of import shipment documents.

Job description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient management of import, export, and air freight operations.

A day in the life of...

To liaise with custom and forwarder for all shipment arrangement.

To arrange all out going container.

To prepare all export shipping documents.

To prepare loading plan and overall shipment planning.

To attend ad-hoc shipment enquiries from other departments.

To liaise with custom and forwarder for all import shipment arrangement.

To arrange all import shipment container.

To ensure compliance of import shipment documents.

To attend ad-hoc shipment enquiries from other departments.

To handle air freight of goods procedure.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

What will make you successful

At least a Bachelor's Degree in Business/ Supply Chain/ Logistic/ Shipping or any in any discipline.

Preferably at least 1 year of relevant working experience in Shipping/ Logistic. However, fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

PC Skills: Basic Windows, Excel, Word, Power Point, (Knowledge on SAP system will be an added advantage).
