Job summary

American Air Filter Manufacturing Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain electrical systems, air conditioning, and plant facilities. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and ensure minimal downtime across the factory.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years' full-time experience, a professional electrical/electronic certificate, and EC A4 registration. Fluency in English and Malay, and willingness to work on shifts are essential.

Qualifications

• Professional Certificate in Engineering (electrical/electronic)
• A4 certificate registered with Energy Commission (Suruhanjaya Tenaga)
• Min 2 years of full-time experience in related field
• PC skills: Email, MS Office (Excel & Word)
• Basic workshop experience
• Basic machine installation, commissioning & troubleshooting
• Experience in civil works
• English and Malay communication with all levels

• Willing to work on shift basis

Responsibilities

• Maintain, install & troubleshoot of electrical systems, air conditioning, building, plant, machinery and equipment.
• Inspect and repair electrical installations and monitor low-voltage facilities & equipment.
• Monitor, inspect & rectify generator equipment faults.
• Assist operation of generator sets, synchronize and energize switchgear, panels and electrical installation.
• Ensure equipment operation related to electrical and instruments areas with minimal downtime.
• Ensure building electrical is maintained effectively & comply with Energy Commission requirements.
• Handle electrical consultant inspections & update status on electrical supply conditions.
• Daily update on facilities equipment log sheet.
• Perform energy conservation, energy efficiency & water conservation activities.
• Take care of the MSB room (cleanliness, servicing).
• Carry out preventive maintenance for machinery and facilities.
• Troubleshoot and repair machines to meet maintenance targets & KPI.
• Look after factory facilities to keep in good condition.
• Attend maintenance requests or any emergency breakdowns.

Job description

To maintain, install & trouble-shoot of electrical systems, air condition system, building, plant, machinery and equipment

Responsible to carry out inspection and repair of the electrical installation of any facilities & monitor the performance low voltage facilities & equipment.

Responsible to monitor, inspect & rectify all equipment faulty for generator systems

Responsible to assist operation of the generator sets, synchronizing of generator sets, energizing electrical switch gear, panel boards and electrical installation

Responsible to ensure equipment operation related to electrical and instruments area always maintain with minimum downtime.

To ensure building electrical is maintained effectively & comply with Energy Commission requirement

Handle electrical consultant inspection & update status on electrical supply condition

Daily update on facilities equipment log sheet.

Perform energy conservation, energy efficiency & water conservation activities.

Responsible on taking care MSB room (cleanliness, servicing, etc.)

To carry out preventive maintenance for the machinery and facilities.

To troubleshoot and repair machines in order to align with maintenance’s target & KPI

To look after factory facilities that make sure the facilities are in good conditions.

Responsible for attending any maintenance requests or any emergency breakdown.

Job Requirements:

• Possess at least professional Certificate in Engineering (electrical/electronic)
• A4 certificate registered with Energy Commission (SuruhanJaya Tenaga)
• Minimum 2 years of full-time working experience in the related field
• PC Skills : Email, Microsoft Office (Excel and Words)
• Basic workshop experience
• Basic machine installation, commissioning and troubleshooting.
