Job summary

Melexis Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Logistics/Shipping Clerk to manage invoicing, pricing updates, and documentation for shipments.

The role requires experience in shipping and receiving, and knowledge of warehouse operations. You will liaise with forwarding agents and Finance to ensure smooth payments and timely reporting. The ideal candidate has 2–5 years in shipping or related roles, fluency in English and local language, and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in shipping and receiving and handling export documents.
• Fluency in local language and good command of English.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and records.
• Proficiency with MS Office tools for reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and type invoices and forms for shipment.
• Update selling prices on the shipping list.
• Book air freight space with forwarding agents.
• Ensure adequate copies of shipping lists for distribution.
• Coordinate export document receipt from agent and timely submission to Finance.
• Review freight invoices before sending to Finance for payment.
• Prepare monthly import/export activity reports for Customs.
• Maintain filing system and good housekeeping.
• Ensure accurate and timely shipping documents to avoid delays.
• Take on additional assignments as required.
