Job summary

Executive, Logistics in Malaysia's Johor state seeks a logistics professional to manage international shipments and ensure accurate documentation. You will oversee letters of credit processing, update weekly shipping forecasts, and coordinate with Marketing and Production to meet customer requirements.

You will supervise shipping staff, monitor container movements, and liaise with government agencies and service providers to drive cost savings and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Shipping, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in shipping operations/documentation.
• Knowledge of freight, vessel chartering, and shipping regulations preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills.
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• In charge of all shipments of PGR products in packed form for overseas destinations.
• Receipt, check and amend letters of credit from finance department.
• Update shipping schedule/forecast weekly and forward months for specialty fats.
• Coordinate with Marketing and Production on customer requirements.
• Respond to queries from buyers, Marketing and other internal customers; monitor container movement and vessel bookings.
• Oversee shipping staff in documentation and liaising with laboratories, regulators and agencies.
