Job summary

Hapag-Lloyd Business Services (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Shipping Business Development Coordinator who is fluent in Thai and English. You will establish client relationships, promote web tools and quotations, and prepare rate proposals for growth accounts.

You will gather market feedback, follow up on quotations, and strive to achieve KPIs while solving challenges under pressure. 1-3 years in maritime or logistics is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years’ experience in a commercial or customer service role, preferably in maritime/logistics.
• Very good command of written and spoken Thai & English.
• Working knowledge of MS Office.

Function and duties:

Establish and build client relationships

For selected growth accounts, prepare rate proposals, timely and competitive.

Achieve Core Key Performance indicators

Examine challenges and problems and generate possible solutions

Qualifications and Technical Job Requirements:

Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in a commercial role/customer service role, preferably in the maritime / logistics sector

Very good command of written and spoken Thai & English

Working knowledge of MS Office

Result driven team player with a proactive attitude

Ability to work under pressure

Goal and deadline driven

Receptive and be able to grasp new ideas and motivate one’s self for personal development
