Job summary

Hapag-Lloyd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Coordinator Business Development (Thai Speaker) to build lasting client relationships, promote digital tools, and develop a portfolio for growth across core customers.

The role requires 1–3 years in a commercial or customer-service role, fluency in Vietnamese and English, and a proactive, deadline-driven mindset with strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years’ experience in a commercial role/customer service role, preferably in the maritime/logistics sector.
• Very good command of written and spoken Vietnamese & English.
• Working knowledge of MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Establish and build client relationships
• Encourage use of web tools and web quotations
• For selected growth accounts, prepare rate proposals, timely and competitive
• Give feedback on the market including rates, competition activities, market conditions etc to all relevant stakeholders
• Follow up on customer business, quotations, freetime

• Examine challenges and problems and generate possible solutions

Coordinator Business Development (Thai Speaker)

Drive the highest levels of quality towards the assigned core customers, be customer-oriented and create value for customers as well as for Hapag-Lloyd. Develop a portfolio of customers that can be elevated to LKA. Drive Promote Digital products for Hapag-Lloyd.
