Job summary

Paris Baguette Malaysia is seeking a Shift Supervisor to implement store plans, oversee staff, and support the store manager in day-to-day operations in Kuala Lumpur.

The role emphasizes customer service, cash handling, opening and closing duties, stock control, and staff development in a fast-paced food and beverage environment. Diploma in F&B management and at least 3 years in foodservice management preferred.

Qualifications

• Min. Diploma in F&B management or any related fields
• At least 3 years of experience management in Food and Service Operations
• Pleasant, friendly, cheerful, and able to work under pressure and in a high-volume environment

Responsibilities

• Create good working environment and develop subordinates by identifying areas that needs training and action to support it.
• Ensure daily opening and closing duties in the outlet are properly executed.
• Manage, direct and co-ordinate all operation-related activities in a proficient and pleasant method.
• Monitor food and stocks wastage in the outlet.
• Managing of daily sales transactions and cash float is adhere to company's cash handling policy and guidelines.
• Ensure that all the supplies and stocks in the outlet are sufficient for the day to day operations.
• Motivate, guide and train the staff in upselling the food and beverage items.
• Ensure that all staff are properly informed on the promotions and information.
• Possess effective management skills
• Possess capability to lead, motivate and manage subordinates
• Good command of spoken English
• PC literate with knowledge in MS Office

Shift Supervisor will implements business plans relating to staff control, handles people issues, performs store-level support functions including customer service, scheduling, day-to-day operations, cashiering, loss prevention, maintenance, and back office support. He/she is responsible for assisting the store manager in day-to-day activities of an outlet.
