Job summary

Hightell Mobile Distribution Sdn Bhd – Johor Bahru, Johor is seeking a capable Store Operations Lead to manage daily opening, SOPs, and staff rosters for a busy F&B location. You will enforce recipe accuracy, uphold hygiene, and drive customer satisfaction.

The role requires hands-on experience in a fast-paced F&B environment, strong leadership, and the ability to train new staff while maintaining cost controls and promotions. Local candidates preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Advanced Diploma preferred.
• 2 years experience in F&B quick-service restaurant preferred.
• Experience with SOPs and staff training is a plus.

Responsibilities

Hightell Mobile Distribution Sdn Bhd – Johor Bahru, Johor

• Oversee daily opening, operational, and closing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Ensure strict adherence to beverage recipes, proportion accuracy, preparation speed, and visual presentation standards.
• Maintain high standards of store cleanliness, equipment hygiene, and overall store appearance.
• Plan and manage weekly staff rosters and labor hours to optimize productivity and control labor costs.
• Conduct onboarding, SOP training, and product quality assessments for new and existing staff.
• Foster a positive team culture, resolve internal conflicts, and manage employee retention.

3. Food Safety & Quality Assurance

• Enforce strict shelf-life and freshness monitoring for fruits, tea bases, toppings, and dairy products following the FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principle.
• Ensure full compliance with local health regulations, food hygiene standards, and company food safety policies.

4. Inventory & Cost Control

• Handle daily/weekly stock ordering, inventory audits, and receiving inspection for raw materials and packaging supplies.
• Monitor stock variances and waste logs to keep operational wastage within targeted limits.
• Oversee routine maintenance and quick reporting of equipment issues (e.g., sealing machines, ice makers, POS systems).

5. Sales Targets & Local Marketing Execution

• Drive store sales performance to meet monthly and quarterly turnover and profitability targets.
• Execute marketing promotions, campaign rollouts, and food delivery platform initiatives (e.g., GrabFood, Foodpanda).
• Monitor local competitor activities and customer preferences to suggest sales improvement strategies.

6. Customer Service & Incident Handling

• Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings across in-store and online delivery channels.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints (e.g., product defects, wait times) promptly and professionally.
