Job summary

Baskin Robbins Malaysia is seeking an operations-focused leader to join our team in Petaling Jaya. The role emphasizes delivering legendary customer service, managing store operations, and developing staff to meet performance targets.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of operations management experience in F&B or retail, can lead teams, communicate well, and adapt to change while maintaining cost controls.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Set goals for the work group and model collaborative work.

• Manage cash handling and safety procedures across shifts.
• Ensure bank-in reports are accurate and daily sales are reconciled.

• Setting goals for the work group, developing organizational capability, and modelling how work together.
• Displays a customer come first attitude by training and holding partners accountable for delivering legendary customer service.
• Drive the implementation of company programs by developing action plans and directly motivating and instructing the store team to implement them to meet operational and organizational objectives.
• Manages with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture, values and mission of BR.
• Monitor and manages store staffing levels to ensure partner development and talent acquisition to achieve and maintain store operational requirement.
• Utilizes existing tools to identify and prioritizes communication and regularly uses discretion to filter communication to the store team.
• Responsible to maintain good and profitable Cost of Goods, labor cost and controlling product damages according to guideline by Finance department.
• Executes store operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety and security to ensure the safety of all team member during each shift.
• Follow all cash management and cash register policies and ensure proper cash management practices are followed by shift team.
• Check bank-in reports of outlets to ensure daily sales takings are banked in on time.
• Resolve sales and operations issues in an effective and timely manner.
• Conduct ROR (Review of Operations Risks) on food safety, SOPs, product quality and health risks to ensure compliance to required standards.
• Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 1 year of experience in operations management in F&B, the food service industry, or retail.
• Fresh graduates with a diploma/SKM (such as F&B, culinary, food safety, hospitality, communication business administration, or its equivalent) can apply.
