Job summary

GEOEARTH TECHNOLOGY (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Estimator to manage design estimates, construction drawing budgets, tender and bidding documents, and quantity take-offs for diverse projects.

You will oversee budget reviews and progress payments, and support project decisions with robust cost data. Responsibilities include preparing and archiving commercial bids and maintaining cost-estimating databases, with strong CAD/Glodon proficiency and thorough knowledge

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience in budgeting and commercial bid preparation.
• Experience in construction tendering, rate pricing and project commercial management.
• Proficiency in CAD, Glodon and cost-estimating software; familiarity with Malaysian market pricing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare design estimates, construction drawing budgets, tender and bidding documents, and quantity take-offs.

Job Responsibilities & Requirements

Responsibilities:

Prepare design estimates, construction drawing budgets, tender and bidding documents, and quantity take-offs;

Prepare and archive commercial bids and qualification/credit bids, and establish, update and maintain commercial-related databases;

Oversee budget reviews for awarded projects, negotiate and sign main contracts and subcontractor/supplier agreements, apply for progress payments, process subcontractor/supplier settlements and payments, and handle final account (completion) settlements;

Support the project team in cost analysis and commercial risk control, and provide data support for project business decisions.

Requirements:

Proficiency in CAD, Glodon and other office and cost-estimating software; familiarity with the Malaysian construction market pricing system is preferred;

Strong professional integrity, solid planning and execution skills, effective communication and coordination abilities, and sound negotiation skills;

3+ years of relevant working experience with a thorough command of the full process of project budgeting and commercial bid preparation; experience in construction tendering, rate compilation/pricing and project commercial management is required;

Candidate must be a Malaysian Chinese, able to use Chinese, English and Malay for daily communication
