Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Technician to install, configure and maintain technical systems and security equipment on-site across project locations in Malaysia.

Ideal candidates have a technical/engineering background and may have prior technician experience. Basic CCTV knowledge and familiarisation with security systems are advantages, and travel to sites is required.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Technical, Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or TVET.
• Open to candidates from technical/engineering backgrounds aiming to transition into Technician.
• Previous technician or relevant technical experience is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of CCTV, security systems, tools and equipment is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, setup and maintenance of technical systems and equipment.
• Perform testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve technical issues.
• Assist with CCTV, access control, alarm and security system installation and maintenance.
• Carry out basic cabling, wiring and equipment connections.
• Conduct site inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Follow technical instructions, safety procedures and project requirements.
• Ensure tools, equipment and work areas are properly maintained.
• Perform other technical tasks assigned by the supervisor.
