Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Technician to support production equipment in a fast-paced facility in Malaysia. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply and will gain hands-on experience in mechanical, electrical, and preventive maintenance tasks.

You will perform routine inspections, assist with repairs, follow safety procedures, and work with the maintenance team to ensure smooth production. Basic SAP and Microsoft Office knowledge is helpful.

Qualifications

• SKM Level 3, Diploma, Professional Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical maintenance and manufacturing equipment.
• Basic electrical knowledge will be an added advantage.
• Able to use basic hand tools and power tools.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Willing to learn and develop technical skills.
• Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office and SAP.
• Willing to work on shifts and flexible working hours when required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, cleaning, and lubrication of production equipment.
• Assist with mechanical repairs and replacement of machine parts.
• Inspect equipment for abnormal noise, vibration, leakage, damage, or other issues.
• Assist senior technicians with maintenance and troubleshooting activities.
• Perform basic electrical checks when required.
• Follow maintenance procedures, work instructions, and safety requirements.
• Record maintenance activities and report equipment issues to the relevant team.
• Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure production equipment operates smoothly and efficiently.
