Job summary

RE&S Enterprises' Service Staff (Bakery Outlet) role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, processing daily sales, and keeping the bakery display inviting and well stocked for a smooth outlet operation.

You will greet customers, provide product information, handle transactions at the POS, ensure FIFO stock rotation, maintain cleanliness, and uphold food hygiene standards to ensure a positive shopping experience for guests.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or retail is preferred.
• Skilled in handling cash and POS transactions.
• Able to maintain clean, inviting product displays and follow FIFO.

Responsibilities

• 1. Customer Service – Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner; provide product information and handle enquiries.
• 2. Sales & Cashiering – Process customer purchases accurately using POS; handle cash, card, and e-payment transactions; ensure proper daily close.
• 3. Product Display & Merchandising – Ensure bakery products are well-displayed; monitor freshness; assist replenishment; follow FIFO stock rotation.
• 4. Outlet Operations Support – Assist in opening/closing procedures; keep display counters clean; support stock receiving and inventory checks.
• 5. Food Safety & Hygiene – Comply with hygiene standards; maintain personal grooming; ensure workstation cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Service

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Provide product information and recommendations
• Handle customer enquiries and basic feedback

2. Sales & Cashiering

• Process customer purchases accurately using POS system
• Handle cash, card, and e-payment transactions
• Ensure proper closing and balancing of daily sales

3. Product Display & Merchandising

• Ensure bakery products are well-displayed and attractively arranged
• Monitor product freshness and assist in replenishment
• Follow FIFO (First-In-First-Out) stock rotation system

4. Outlet Operations Support

• Assist in opening and closing procedures
• Maintain cleanliness of display counters and customer areas
• Support stock receiving and basic inventory checks

5. Food Safety & Hygiene

• Comply with food hygiene and safety standards
• Maintain personal hygiene and proper grooming standards
• Ensure cleanliness of workstations and equipment
