Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a sales support professional to assist the Service Manager in prospecting new customers, providing after-sales service, handling projects, and monitoring subcontractors for fire protection system service and maintenance contracts.

You will generate leads, prepare proposals and quotations, manage customer inquiries and complaints, coordinate orders, site visits, and ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering; 3 years in sales or related field.
• Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings.
• Computer literate; able to handle multiple priorities.
• Own transport and willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Service Manager in sales activities including prospecting new customers, providing after-sales service, and monitoring subcontractors.

Assist the Service Manager in all matters related to sales such as prospecting new customer, provide after sales service, projects, and monitoring of subcontractors. To attend inquiries and complaint and others relevant activities assigned to you from time to time.

Job Description

• To generate leads, actively market, and secure sales for fire protection system service and maintenance contracts.
• To prepare, compile, and present sales proposals, quotations, and service agreements to existing and prospective clients.
• To build and maintain strong relationships with customers, attending to their requests, inquiries, and any complaints promptly.
• To co-ordinate and monitor the sales orders and ensure the transaction completes according to the lead time.
• To support project site visits, site monitoring, and attend site meetings to ensure client requirements are accurately assessed and met.
• Ensure documentations for sales are prepared on time.
• Ensure logistic requirement are arranged accordingly for timely delivery.
• Ensure customer’s inquiry and requisition are attended promptly.
• Ensure relevant reports are submitted on time.
• Update existing and new customer registration.
• Handle cold calling of potential customers.
• Process and prepare documentations (Sale quotation, Delivery Order, Invoices, and other documents associated with Sales).
• Achieve budgeted sales figures.
• Attend monthly Sales Meeting, Sales Order Meeting & Debtor Meeting.
• Coordinate with logistic arrangement when necessary.
• Any other duties or ad-hoc matters assigned by management as and when required.

Qualification

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 3 years in similar experience.
• 3 years working in sales department.
• Able to read and interpret basic technical drawings.
• Computer literate. Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Fit, healthy and no physical disability.
• Posses own transport and willing to travel.
