Job summary

Leeden Hercules is seeking a results-driven Sales Executive in Malaysia to develop new markets, propose production-enhancing solutions, and service existing clients. You will demonstrate equipment with technicians, respond to inquiries, prepare quotations and chase follow-ups to achieve set targets.

The role requires a degree in marketing or related fields and at least 1 year of relevant experience. Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, plus teamwork, are expected.

Responsibilities

• Attend to customer inquiries, prepare quotations and follow up actions.

• Monitor debts & collect payments from customers.
• Deliver products / invoices and collect payments; tender/bid submission support.
• Achieve sales targets set by management.
• Perform other related duties incidental to the work.

• Develop and penetrate new markets / projects in targeted industries / sectors to generate new sales.
• Provide solution to the customers to be more efficient in their production.
• Service existing customers assigned by the Company.
• Report details on all aspect of competitors’ activities.
• Conduct demonstration of machines / equipment with the assistance of technicians.
• Attend to customers’ enquiries, prepare quotation and follow up action.
• Propose pricing agreement.
• Monitor debts & collect payment from customers.
• Deliver products / invoices to the customers & collect tender / in urgent cases.
• Propose and assist on tender / bid submission.
• Achieve objectives and sales targets set by the Management.
• Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

Requirements

• Degree in marketing mechanical/electronic/electrical/chemical engineering/science/marketing/business related courses or its equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience, preferably in related field.
• Task & result oriented.
• Good interpersonal & coordination skills.
• Persuasive, good presentation & negotiation skills & a good team player.
• Experience / exposure in industrial / medical / specialty gases & ferrous metal base industrial environment preferred.
• Knowledge in welding & cutting machines / consumables an added advantage.
