Job summary

Merge Jati Group is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join Excelmech Engineering Sdn Bhd within the group to support sales, project development, and engineering tasks across the palm oil sector in Malaysia.

The role requires a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering, 1–2 years of experience, and strong English communication. Willingness to travel regionally and the ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience; palm oil industry is a bonus.
• CGPA 3.0 or above; MUET Band 4+ preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Sales & Project Development works including compiling cost and data for Technical Proposal Preparation, Marketing Meetings, Review of Drawings, Technical Specifications.
• Conduct product presentations, specifications and technical solutions and provide solution-based selling.
• Manage the complete sales cycle: inquiries, quotations, tenders, negotiations, order processing and delivery coordination.
• Assist in Sales Business Development: Prospecting & building rapport with prospects and generating sales/project leads.
• Assist in Engineering works such as ACAD drafting, project site surveys and progress claim verification.
• Support the company image via social media, websites, emails; assist in trade exhibitions prep.
• Handle departmental documentation (quotations, contracts, ISO filing, bonds, etc.).
• Assist in cross-company projects and engineering procurement as required.

• Shall attach to product & equipment department under Excelmech Engineering Sdn Bhd within Merge Jati Group.
