Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Proficiency in electrical components such as servo motors and robots.
• Ability to read mechanical, pneumatic and electrical drawings.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites / overseas.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installation, commissioning, servicing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of automation equipment.
• Diagnose equipment faults, identify root causes, and repair or replace defective components and parts.
• Provide technical support to customers and advise on equipment operation, maintenance, and system modifications.
• Support engineering teams with FAT, installation preparation, product development, and improvement projects.
• Coordinate with customers, end users, management, and internal teams to resolve technical and service issues promptly.
• Conduct customer training and provide technical guidance to ensure proper equipment operation and maintenance.
• Provide phone and on-site technical support, monitor open service jobs, and maintain updates with the Service Manager.
• Prepare accurate service reports and identify opportunities for spare parts, system upgrades, and service contracts.

Coordinate with customers, end users, management, and internal teams to resolve technical and service issues promptly.

Conduct customer training and provide technical guidance to ensure proper equipment operation and maintenance.

Provide phone and on-site technical support, monitor open service jobs, and maintain regular updates with the Service Manager.

Prepare accurate service reports and identify opportunities for spare parts, system upgrades, and service contracts while maintaining high customer service standards.

Job Requirements

Diploma in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.

Proficiency in electrical components such as servo motors and robots

Proficiency in reading mechanical drawings, pneumatic drawings, and electrical drawings

At least 2 years' experience as Service Engineer within automation industry.

Willingness to travel to customer sites / overseas.
