Job summary

Jora Malaysia is hiring a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain and repair equipment at customer sites in IPOH and nearby areas.

You will diagnose problems, perform repairs, and explain technical information clearly to customers. You will document service calls and report to the Service Manager, with extensive travel and some office work for reporting. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; a minimum of 2 years’ hands-on experience in manufacturing or related fields is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in manufacturing or similar field.

Installation and Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair various technical equipment or products directly at customer sites.

Troubleshooting: Diagnose technical problems and perform effective repairs to ensure optimal performance of equipment.

Customer Interaction: Serve as the direct link between the company and customers, providing necessary technical expertise and explaining complex information in an understandable way.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance performed, and report to the Service Manager or Head of Engineering.

Travel: This role requires extensive travel to customer locations, with some office work for reporting and documentation purposes.

Required Skills

Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of the technical aspects of the equipment being serviced, often requiring a background in engineering or a related field.

Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently and effectively.

Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with customers and explain technical information clearly.

Flexibility: Willingness to travel frequently and adapt to various work environments.

Qualification

Holding Degree in Mechanical/ Mechatronic/Electrical Engineering

Minimum 2 years’ experience in manufacturing or hands on of similar field.
