Job summary

Aimflex Systems Sdn Bhd is seeking a Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electronics Engineer to review plans, gather technical requirements, and prepare cost estimates for assigned projects.

You will work with customers and internal engineering teams to design compliant solutions, manage customer relationships, and drive quotations and project delivery, including field support and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electronics Engineering.
• Minimum 1 year of related field experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, planning and leadership abilities.
• Willing to travel domestically and overseas; weekend work when required.

Responsibilities

• Review plans, system schematics, customer specifications, and other documents to develop and prepare cost estimates.
• Discuss with customers or end users to collect detailed technical requirements for assigned job.
• Collaborate with customers and internal engineering teams to design engineering solutions that meet customer requirements.
• Manage relationships with existing customers and build relationships with potential customers to generate new business.
• Understand competitors and align with new strategies to win in competition.
• Prepare quotations, costing, and test proposals for projects.
• Follow up quotation status with customers.
• Trigger purchasing of equipment and components used in projects.
• Transfer sales to project, run weekly project meetings, and monitor status until delivery.
• Communicate and collaborate with team members, managers, customers and suppliers.
• Provide project updates and supporting records to Project Manager and Sales Manager.
• Assist project team to obtain/feedback information to customers.
• Handle and manage services related to customer requests and complaints.
• Travel to customer sites as necessary.
• Provide field support or development when necessary.
• Ad-hoc support to management requests.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/ Mechatronics/ Electronics Engineering.
