Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Field Service Engineer/Technical Service Engineer to deliver on-site installation, commissioning and after-sales support. You will troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, provide training to customers and end-users, and coordinate with internal teams and third-party service providers to ensure project completion and customer satisfaction.

Applicants should hold a diploma or degree in a relevant engineering field with at least 1 year of field service experience, and

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechatronics, Refrigeration, Electrical, Automation, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in technical service, field service, equipment maintenance, installation or commissioning.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication, coordination and customer service skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively with internal teams, customers and external service providers.
• Will travel and work at different customer or project sites when required.
• Able to respond to occasional emergency or urgent service requests.

Responsibilities

• Handle on-site equipment delivery, installation, commissioning and after-sales service activities
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues reported by customers in a timely manner
• Provide operation, maintenance and basic technical training to customers and end-users
• Coordinate with third-party service providers and internal teams to conduct testing, resolve technical issues and ensure project completion
• Respond to customer emergency and warranty service requests within the required timeframe
• Monitor and provide timely feedback on customer requirements, technical issues and site conditions
• Build and maintain good working relationships with customers, particularly maintenance and technical personnel
• Prepare service reports and maintain accurate records of site activities and issue resolution
• Collaborate with service providers and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery and after-sales support
