Job summary

Denver Auto Sdn Bhd is seeking a Service Advisor to join our After Sales team in Perai. You will greet customers, understand their vehicle concerns, and coordinate servicing to ensure a smooth experience.

You will explain service requirements, obtain approvals, and keep customers updated on progress and maintenance needs. The role requires strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, plus a valid driving license.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Automotive, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Preferably 1–3 years of experience in automotive after-sales or Service Advisor role.
• Good customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Basic knowledge of automotive servicing and repair processes.
• EV / BYD experience is an advantage.
• Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Computer literate and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer-focused, organized, and able to work well with the Workshop team.
• Possess a valid driving license.

Responsibilities

• Attend to customers and understand their vehicle concerns.
• Conduct basic vehicle inspections and prepare Repair Orders (RO).
• Explain service requirements, quotations, and estimated completion times.
• Obtain customer approval before carrying out additional repairs.
• Coordinate with Technicians, Workshop Foreman, Parts Department, Warranty Officer, and After Sales Manager.
• Monitor repair progress and provide customers with regular service updates.
• Explain completed repairs and future maintenance requirements during vehicle delivery.
• Achieve assigned Service Advisor KPIs and targets.
• Support service revenue, customer retention, and customer satisfaction.

We are looking for a Service Advisor to join our After Sales team in Perai. This role is responsible for providing excellent customer service, coordinating vehicle servicing and ensuring a smooth service experience for customers. This role involves:

• Attend to customers and understand their vehicle concerns
• Conduct basic vehicle inspections and prepare Repair Orders (RO)
• Explain service requirements, quotations, and estimated completion times
• Obtain customer approval before carrying out additional repairs
• Coordinate with Technicians, Workshop Foreman, Parts Department, Warranty Officer, and After Sales Manager
• Monitor repair progress and provide customers with regular service updates
• Ensure customer requests and vehicle concerns are clearly communicated to the Workshop
• Maintain good knowledge of BYD models, EV features, and maintenance requirements
• Keep updated on BYD Malaysia service information, campaigns, and procedures
• Attend BYD / BYD Academy training when required
• Handle customer feedback and service-related enquiries professionally
• Follow up with customers after service where required
• Explain completed repairs and future maintenance requirements during vehicle delivery
• Achieve assigned Service Advisor KPIs and targets
• Support service revenue, customer retention, and customer satisfaction
• Promote relevant approved service products and packages
• Maintain proper records and comply with company and BYD Malaysia procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned by the After Sales Manager or Management
