Job summary

Hydroleap, a fast-growing startup in Kuala Lumpur, is expanding its commercial team and seeks a Senior Sales Executive to lead Malaysia's sales pipeline for water and wastewater treatment technologies.

Based in Kuala Lumpur, you will own end-to-end sales cycles, develop go-to-market strategies, build a diverse client pipeline, and collaborate with BD and marketing to hit senior-level targets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of B2B sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Experience selling water or wastewater treatment solutions or related tech is preferred.
• Strong network within industrial, municipal, manufacturing, data centre, FMCG, or related sectors in Malaysia.
• Ability to manage complex, high-value, and technically nuanced sales cycles.
• Confident speaker and presenter engaging senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Skilled in lead prospecting and cold outreach; excellent written communication.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; willingness to travel within Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the end-to-end sales cycle for Malaysia from lead to close.
• Develop and execute go-to-market and account strategy for Malaysia with BD and marketing.
• Build and manage a pipeline across industrial, municipal, manufacturing, F&B, data centre, FMCG sectors.
• Meet and exceed senior-level sales targets and regional revenue objectives.
• Actively hunt, pursue and win new business to grow Hydroleap’s client base in Malaysia.
• Prepare and write technical proposals with solutioning/engineering teams.
• Represent Hydroleap at industry events, client meetings and site visits across Malaysia.
• Maintain accurate CRM and sales database records.
