Job summary

Ambition is seeking a Sales Director - Industrial Solutions in Selangor to lead growth, own the P&L, and build a high‑performing team.

You will partner with senior leadership to shape strategy, expanding the distributor network across Klang Valley and southern regions, and drive water treatment sales nationwide while steering major bids and key accounts.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of sales leadership experience managing teams and revenue growth.
• Established network within microelectronics, water treatment or manufacturing.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leadership to define and execute a sustainable commercial growth strategy across assigned regions and market segments
• Expand the distributor network and grow the customer base across the Klang Valley and southern regions to achieve revenue targets
• Lead, coach, and develop a sales team, ensuring strong alignment between sales and technical service functions
• Spearhead major project bids, new account acquisitions, and key account penetration strategies to maximise market share
• Build and execute a targeted growth plan for water treatment sales across Malaysia
• Manage key account relationships, ensuring exceptional service delivery and fulfilment of all customer requirements
• Provide technical product support and training to customers, consultants, EPC contractors, and government stakeholders
• Negotiate commercial and contractual terms, maintain accurate CRM records, and deliver regular performance reports to senior management

What We're Looking For

A strategic, decisive sales leader ready to drive real commercial impact:

• Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field


• 5-7 years of sales leadership experience managing internal and external teams, ideally within an MNC environment


• Established network within microelectronics, water treatment, or manufacturing sectors


• Consistent track record of exceeding sales targets and developing new business


• Strong strategic thinking with a solid grasp of customer behaviour, competitor activity, and market trends


• Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an advantage


• Product knowledge in piping is a plus
