Job summary

BIZLINK INTERCONNECT TECHNOLOGY ( INDIA ) PRIVATE LIMITED in Malaysia's Penang region seeks a seasoned warehousing professional to oversee inventory control, optimize stock and manage kit assembly. You will supervise warehouse staff, maintain accurate records, ensure space utilization and safety compliance.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in warehousing, a relevant degree, and strong Microsoft Office skills, with preference for logistics/supply chain exposure and analytical planning abilities

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of work experience in warehousing or related industries.
• Bachelor's degree in Warehousing or a related field.
• Preferred specialization in Logistics / Supply Chain or equivalent.
• Strong analytical skills and planning exposure.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing inventory control systems to track stock levels and prevent shortages or overstocks.
• Implementing inventory optimization techniques to reduce holding costs and improve turnover rates.
• Conducting regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Managing warehouse layout and space utilization to maximize efficiency.
• Supervising warehouse staff, including receiving, picking, packing and kitting.
• Implementing and monitoring warehouse safety procedures to minimize accidents and injuries.
• Monitoring warehouse expenses, such as labor, utilities, and equipment maintenance.
• Identifying cost-saving opportunities and implementing measures to reduce operational costs.
• Determine the specific kits required, the quantity of each kit, and the components to be included.
• Gather the necessary components and ensure they are in good condition.
• Assembly, packing the kits in appropriate containers, labeling them clearly. Inspect the kits to verify accuracy and completeness.
• At least 5 Years of work experience in warehousing or related industries.
• Candidate should possess at least a degree in Warehousing or a related field.
• Preferably, candidates specialized in Logistics/Supply Chain or equivalent.
• A good analytical approach and exposure to planning work shall be an advantage.
• Computer literate, with good working skills in Microsoft Office software.
