Job summary

OPT Machine Vision is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to drive sales of its advanced vision products within the assigned territory. You will combine technical expertise with sales acumen to build a robust pipeline and deliver exceptional customer experiences across electronics, automotive, and logistics sectors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in technical sales, business development, or sales engineering.
• Preferably in machine vision, industrial automation, or related high-tech industries.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in a competitive market.
• Strong hunter mentality with a proactive, results-driven approach to closing opportunities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; fluency in English, Mandarin a plus.

Responsibilities

• New Business Development: identify, approach, and secure new customers.
• Pipeline Management: build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through outreach and events.
• Sales Cycle Leadership: manage lead generation, quotation, negotiation, order closure, revenue realization.
• Customer Relationship Management: grow long-term relationships for repeat business and upselling.
• Technical Collaboration: work with engineering to design value-driven, customized proposals.
• Internal Coordination: align with sales support, marketing and product teams.
• Market Intelligence: provide forecasts and market insights to support strategy.
