Job summary

DHL is hiring in Malaysia to support its logistics operations. The role focuses on planning, scheduling, and coordinating transport movements across multiple DCs, ensuring timely bookings and full truck availability. The candidate will update TMS records daily, verify invoices, and report any issues to supervisors.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in transport/warehousing, good computer literacy, and strong planning and communication skills to operate in a dynamic logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM qualification and related experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in transport/warehousing.
• Proficient with computers and basic data handling.
• Strong planning and multitasking abilities in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across all levels.

Responsibilities

• To ensure window booking is done 1 day in advance for DCs like MYDIN CDC, GIANT, TESCO, etc.
• Ensure 100% truck availability based on the request; source backup trucks when needed.
• Update the Daily Movement board promptly according to the plan for the day.
• Update the TMS daily with trips, re-delivery, waiting charges and cancellations.
• Verify export invoices against permits prepared by customers and attach to loading.
• Report transport failures and delivery discrepancies to superiors and log in DMR.
• Flag delays or potential failures to superiors before window slots.
• Perform any other duties assigned by immediate superiors.

Responsibilities

• To ensure window booking is done 1 day in advance for DC ie: MYDIN CDC, GIANT, TESCO & etc
• To ensure 100% truck availability based on the request. If there’s any turn down, source out the backup adhoc truck accordingly without jeopardizing the load.
• To ensure the ‘Daily Movement’ board is updated promptly based on the plan for the day.
• To update the TMS on daily basis – daily trip / re-delivery trip / waiting chargers / cancellation.
• To verify the export invoice against the permit as prepared by customer and attach it together with the loading.
• To report any transport failures and discrepancy during delivery to immediate superior and update them into the DMR.
• To report any delay or possibilities of failure to immediate superior before window slot.
• To perform any other duties assigned by immediate superiors.
