Job summary

Randstad Malaysia, on behalf of a prominent MNC in engineering and facilities management, seeks a standalone Talent Acquisition lead for Malaysia operations.

You will own end-to-end recruitment across project engineering and operations teams, from sourcing to onboarding, and build strong talent pipelines. Based in Penang, the role offers flexibility to KL for the right candidate with 6–10 years of TA experience.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related discipline.
• 6 to 10 years of dedicated Talent Acquisition experience, with a proven track record operating with a high degree of autonomy.
• Strictly required background in the Construction, Engineering, or Manufacturing sectors; exposure spanning both construction and manufacturing will be highly advantageous.
• Strong track record of career stability and candidate retention.
• Ideal candidate will be based in Penang; however, they are open to accommodate KL-based talent operating out of their Kuala Lumpur office for the right professional alignment.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Talent Acquisition for Malaysia operations.
• Sourcing, screening, technical interviews, offer negotiations, and onboarding alignment.
• Build and maintain pipelines for niche engineering and technical roles across industrial construction, engineering, and operational environments.
• Act as a trusted talent advisor to hiring managers and business leaders, providing guidance on recruitment market trends, talent availability, and intake alignment.
• Oversee and manage external recruitment agencies and search firm relationships to ensure quality and cost-effective hiring fulfillment.
• Drive direct sourcing strategies using professional networks, talent mapping, competitor analysis, and talent communities.
• Ensure strict compliance with local labor regulations and company recruitment policies while maintaining accurate records within ATS and recruitment systems.
