Job summary

HCK Capital Group is seeking a Senior System Analyst to maintain, optimise and support core business software systems in Kuala Lumpur. You will troubleshoot issues, configure settings and support end users while bridging business requirements with technical delivery.

• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior System Analyst to maintain, optimise and support our core business software systems.

You will troubleshoot application issues, configure system settings and support end users while bridging the gap between business requirements and technical implementation. You will also support IT projects and implement AI-driven solutions to automate and improve business processes.

What You’ll Do

System Analysis and Optimisation

• Gather, analyse and manage user requirements to recommend solutions.
• Troubleshoot application issues, perform root-cause analysis and coordinate resolutions.
• Configure system settings and optimise existing applications for performance and usability.
• Create user documentation, test scripts and training materials, and contribute to the internal knowledge base.
• Conduct functional testing and support UAT to ensure systems meet requirements.
• Support test strategy, planning and progress reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate and support multiple IT projects from initiation through completion.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, timelines, action items and project documentation.

AI Solution Implementation

• Work closely with business units and stakeholders to understand their processes and challenges, and help shape and refine AI use cases.
• Design, build, test and deploy robust, scalable AI-driven applications based on the defined use-case backlog.
• Design and build integrations connecting AI applications with existing company systems and data sources.
• Create clear technical documentation for developed AI solutions to ensure long-term maintainability.
• Monitor AI-solution performance and recommend continuous improvements.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• At least two years of experience as a System Analyst or in a similar role within an IT environment.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Able to work in Malaysia without a visa.
