Job summary

Go Capital Growth Sdn Bhd is seeking a motivated Business Analyst to identify business needs, gather requirements, and bridge gaps between business stakeholders and technology teams in Malaysia.

You will analyze processes, map workflows, draft BRDs, and support projects from initiation through implementation, helping deliver effective solutions and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s level education or diploma in business, IT, CS, finance or related field.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in business analysis, product management or project management.
• Proficiency in process mapping, workflow design, and technical documentation.
• Experience working with software development or engineering teams (preferred).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies (preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel & PowerPoint).
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven stakeholder management and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage with business stakeholders to understand pain points and gather requirements for technology teams.
• Analyze existing processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare BRDs, process flows, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Bridge between business units and development teams, guiding lifecycle discussions.
• Support UAT and manage feedback to ensure delivery meets objectives.
• Track changes and issues throughout projects and provide post-implementation support.

Job description

We are seeking a motivated and analytical Business Analyst to identify business needs, gather requirements, and collaborate closely with business stakeholders and technology teams to deliver effective solutions. In this role, you will analyze processes, drive continuous improvement, document requirements, and support projects throughout the entire project lifecycle-from initiation through to implementation.

Key responsibilities

Engage with business stakeholders to understand pain points, gather system and business requirements, and translate them into clear functional specifications for technology teams

Analyze existing business processes, workflows, and operations to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement

Prepare comprehensive Business Requirements Documents (BRD), process flows, user stories, and acceptance criteria

Act as a bridge between business units and development teams, facilitating discussions and ensuring aligned project goals across the development lifecycle

Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), manage business feedback, and ensure final deliverables meet original business objectives

Track issues, changes, and requirements throughout the project, providing ongoing support and resolving post-implementation business issues

About you

Diploma or Degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field

5 to 8 years of relevant experience in Business Analysis, Product Management, or Project Management

Proficiency in process mapping, workflow design, and technical documentation

Experience working alongside software development or engineering teams (preferred)

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies (preferred)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (specifically Excel and PowerPoint)

Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
