Job summary

U Mobile Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Specialist to lead the growth and performance of its International Business, including wholesale services, signalling, and partner relationships. You will plan regional expansion, manage profitability, and drive new wholesale products from concept to delivery.

You will oversee carrier partnerships, negotiate interconnect terms, and guide a team through transformation initiatives while monitoring market dynamics and ensuring high performance across regional

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Business or equivalent.
• 10–12 years in enterprise telecom product development, IT delivery or solution management.
• Experience leading teams and managing stakeholders.
• Ability to translate business needs into scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Plan and expand regional reach and coverage for wholesale products and services.
• Manage P&L performance for International Business and value-added services.
• Oversee relationships with carriers and international PoPs.
• Lead wholesale traffic swap deals and negotiate inbound termination/interconnect rates.
• Lead the team and develop employees within the International Business.
• Oversee acquisition of wholesale partnerships.
• Plan revenue assurance activities and monitor repeat business.
• Drive quality and process improvements.
• Monitor competitors and changes in the competitive landscape.

Job Summary

Lead the growth and performance of the International Business, including wholesale services, signalling, value-added services, carrier partnerships and domestic and international points of presence.

The Day-to-Day Activities

Plan and expand the Company’s regional reach and coverage, while supporting business development and the introduction of new wholesale products and services.

Manage profit and loss performance for the International Business, signalling and value-added services.

Manage relationships with carriers and oversee domestic and international points of presence.

Lead wholesale traffic swap deals and negotiate inbound termination, hubbing via Malaysia and preferential interconnect rates.

Select wholesale traffic partners based on market needs and opportunities, while growing margins and revenue streams.

Lead the team, including organisational management and employee development.

Oversee the acquisition of wholesale partnerships.

Plan revenue assurance activities and monitor repeat business assurance.

Drive quality and process improvements.

Monitor competitors and changes in the competitive landscape.

About You

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Business, Management or an equivalent field.

Strong understanding of enterprise telecommunications products, platforms and IT environments.

10–12 years of experience in enterprise telecommunications product development, IT delivery or solution management, with proven team leadership experience.

Experience managing the full product lifecycle and working with Enterprise, IT, Network and external stakeholders.

Strong business judgement, leadership, planning, stakeholder management and ability to turn business needs into scalable solutions.

Strategic, results-driven, collaborative and adaptable, with strong ownership, accountability and resilience. Passion for technology, innovation and developing people is essential.
