Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional sourcing strategies aligned with cost, quality, delivery, inventory, and supply continuity goals.
• Lead sourcing strategy for assigned commodities, including localization, market analysis and long term planning.
• Identify, evaluate, qualify, and develop suppliers to improve cost competitiveness, innovation, and supply resilience.
• Build and maintain executive level supplier relationships to align technology and capacity roadmaps.
• Conduct supplier business reviews, performance scorecards, and corrective action plans.
• Drive cost analysis, cost breakdown, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Analyse market conditions and cost drivers to identify sustainable value opportunities.
• Monitor commodity markets, global economic conditions, and supply risks to inform decisions.
• Develop contingency plans for supply disruptions and mitigate risks such as capacity constraints, geopolitical issues, and single source exposure.

A Senior Sourcing Manager is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies, managing suppliers, negotiating contracts, mitigating supply risks, and ensuring cost effective, high quality, and reliable supply. These responsibilities typically include commodity sourcing, supplier performance management, cost reduction initiatives, and cross functional collaborations.

About you

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, engineering, or equivalent.

Minimum 10 years of experience in commodity management, sourcing, and supply chain.

Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills.

Proficiency in Ms Office Suite and ERP systems.

Familiar with Lean manufacturing principles or ISO certification.

Experience in managing supplier relationships and commercial negotiations, working in multi-region or global supply chain environments.

Sound knowledge in automation, sheet metal works, wire mesh, building materials or related commodities.
