Qualifications

Senior Solutions Consultant - Higher Education

We are looking for a Senior Solutions Consultant – Higher Education to lead solution discovery, institutional process analysis, product demonstrations and solution design for universities and education groups. You will work closely with academic, administrative, IT and senior management stakeholders to understand their business challenges and translate their requirements into practical technology solutions using an enterprise higher-education platform. This is a consultative solutions role, not purely a product demonstration position. You will be involved in discovery workshops, business process analysis, solution design, fit-gap assessment, RFP/tender support and customer presentations.

Key responsibilities

Conduct discovery workshops with university academic, administrative and IT stakeholders.

Analyse existing institutional processes, systems, data, policies and pain points.

Translate university requirements into appropriate technology solutions.

Map customer requirements to platform capabilities and identify configuration, integration or product gaps.

Prepare and deliver role-specific product demonstrations.

Develop solution narratives, process maps, fit-gap assessments and future-state workflows.

Support RFPs, tenders, technical questionnaires and security reviews.

Work with sales teams to define solution scope, implementation assumptions, integrations and expected outcomes.

Explain APIs, integrations, data migration, security, workflow automation, analytics and AI capabilities to relevant stakeholders.

Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Implementation and Customer Success teams.

About you

Experience in solutions consulting, presales, business analysis, functional consulting, implementation consulting or product consulting.

Strong understanding of higher-education processes and the student lifecycle.

Experience with areas such as admissions, registration, curriculum, courses, assessment, examinations, faculty workload or institutional reporting.

Experience working with SIS, ERP, LMS, CRM, workflow, analytics or education-management platforms.

Strong requirements gathering, process analysis, solution design and presentation skills.

Understanding of APIs, integrations, data migration, access control and SaaS concepts.

Experience supporting RFPs, tenders or technical proposals is highly desirable.

Strong written and spoken English.

Comfortable engaging with senior university stakeholders and technical teams.

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Information Systems, Software Engineering, Business, Education Technology or a related field.
