Job summary

NSW Automation Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to act as the technical SME for automation, dispensing, and system integration. You will engage with customers to understand requirements, run PoCs and pilot tests, and help validate and optimize solutions.

You will collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering to design customer‑specific configurations, participate in FAT and evaluations, and ensure scalable results aligned with client objectives.

• Experience as a technical SME for automation, dispensing, and integration solutions.
• Ability to engage customers, understand requirements, and propose technical solutions.
• Experience conducting PoCs, pilot projects and solution validations.
• Ability to support deployment, scale‑up, and process optimization.

Senior Solutions Engineer

Department: Applications & Solutions

Technical Consultation & Solution Development

• Act as the technical subject matter expert for automation, dispensing, and system integration solutions.
• Engage with customers to understand application requirements and recommend suitable technical solutions.
• Conduct feasibility studies, proof‑of‑concept (PoC) testing, pilot projects, and solution validations.
• Support solution deployment, scale‑up activities, and continuous process optimization.

Solution Design & Implementation

• Collaborate with Business Development, Product, and Engineering teams to develop customer‑specific solutions.
• Define process parameters, system configurations, and integration requirements.
• Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), customer evaluations, and technical validations.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, and aligned with customer objectives.

Technical Knowledge & Training

• Develop technical documentation, application guides, SOPs, troubleshooting manuals, and best practices.
• Conduct technical training, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions for customers and internal teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical capability development across the organization.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Quality teams to support customer projects and strategic initiatives.
• Provide technical input for product improvements, solution enhancements, and new technology developments.
• Support technical discussions, proposals, and customer presentations.
• Monitor solution performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and market developments.
• Contribute technical insights that support innovation and business growth.
