Job summary

MAQO ENGINEERING SDN. BHD is seeking a results-driven Sales and Marketing Manager to lead turnkey solar EPCC business development in Malaysia. You will drive revenue growth by securing new projects, building pipelines, and coordinating with engineering teams.

You will also shape marketing campaigns, strengthen brand presence in renewables, mentor teams, and collaborate across functions to deliver promised scope on time. Travel for client meetings is required.

Responsibilities

• Identify, target, and secure new business for turnkey solar EPCC projects (C&I and/or utility-scale).
• Build and manage a sales pipeline from lead generation to contract closure.
• Prepare proposals and techno-commercial offers with engineering and estimation teams.
• Negotiate pricing and contract terms to meet margins and targets.
• Build long-term relationships with developers, industrial clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
• Develop and run marketing strategies (digital, events, direct outreach) to generate qualified leads.
• Strengthen brand positioning in the renewable energy market.
• Track market trends, competitor activity, and government solar policies and incentives.
• Set sales targets, forecast revenue, and report performance to management.
• Lead and coach the sales and marketing team, and manage agencies and vendors.
• Collaborate with project, engineering, and procurement teams to ensure deliverables and timelines.
• Travel for client meetings and site visits as needed.
