Job summary

MAQO ENGINEERING SDN BHD is seeking an enthusiastic procurement professional to lead the end-to-end purchasing for renewable solar projects in Malaysia.

You will source, negotiate and secure quality supplies, manage supplier relationships, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery while driving cost savings and compliance.

This full-time role requires 2–3 years of relevant experience and export/import exposure.

Qualifications

• Degree in relevant field; 2–3 years in procurement ideal.
• Experience negotiating contracts, managing suppliers, and large-scale procurements.
• Export and import experience required.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement for solar projects: source, negotiate and secure timely quality supplies.
• Manage end-to-end purchasing, including export/import processes and delivery scheduling.
• Develop cost-saving procurement strategies and supplier partnerships.
• Perform supplier audits and performance reviews for compliance and quality.
• Conduct market research to ensure competitive pricing and sourcing.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and quality supply.
