Job summary

Alam Kotamas Sdn Bhd is seeking a talented and experienced Site Engineer to join our dynamic construction team in Sabah. Based in Kota Kinabalu, you will oversee on-site activities and coordinate project delivery to meet plans and specifications.

You will manage quality, safety and regulatory compliance, liaise with contractors and stakeholders, and provide technical guidance to the team. A bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering and at least five years of site or construction

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of experience as Site Engineer or in a construction management role.
Experience in construction project management, including planning, scheduling, cost control and quality assurance.

Responsibilities

Oversee and coordinate all on-site construction activities to ensure alignment with plans and specifications.
Monitor and manage quality through site inspections and QC measures.
Liaise with contractors, subcontractors and stakeholders to resolve issues.
Prepare detailed progress reports and documentation to track project performance and compliance.
Identify and propose solutions to optimise construction processes and improve efficiency.
Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
