Job summary

Borneo Development Corporation (Sabah) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an Officer Site Supervisor to oversee day-to-day construction site operations, manage workers, and ensure quality and safety standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.

The role requires a civil/structural engineering or related degree, at least 3 years of site supervision experience, and strong leadership and communication skills in English and Bahasa Melayu. Certification is advantageous for this position.

Qualifications

• Degree / Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience supervising construction works at site or similar role.
• Able to communicate effectively in English and Bahasa Melayu.
• Site supervisor certification is an advantage.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Excellent technical skills and the ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and relevant documents.
• Strong team leadership and time management skills.
• High attention to details and commitment to quality throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction workers, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
• Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and resolving issues that may arise.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Liaise with project managers, contractors, government officers, and consultants to provide updates and address concerns.
• Assist in preparing reports, documentation, and other administrative tasks as required.
