Job summary

Dyson is seeking a Simulation Engineer – Performance to join our RDD Technology Development team in Malaysia. You will collaborate with design and functional teams to measure and predict key performance parameters for Floorcare, Robots and Environment Care products.

You will use a mix of simulation, testing and engineering judgment to solve development challenges, while working with UK counterparts on projects from early design to production.

Qualifications

University degree or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
Strong knowledge of simulation, numerical analysis, and modelling.
Experience with CFD tools (e.g., ANSYS Fluent/CFX) and modelling tools (Matlab/Simulink/Simscape).
Experience with experimental methodology and analysis techniques.

Responsibilities

Deliver performance simulation support to assigned projects for performance simulation activities.
Identify technical risks and contribute to FMEA with mitigation actions.
Handle more detailed and complex simulations and help define new processes/methods.
Proactively improve methodologies and practices and implement improvements.
Collaborate across UK, MY, SG, and PH teams with potential travel for projects.
