Job summary
Dyson Malaysia is seeking a Design Manager to lead the technical delivery of Floorcare development programmes within Dyson’s Research, Design and Development organisation. You will guide cross-functional teams to ensure projects meet Dyson’s standards for quality, performance, reliability and innovation.

Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, Product Design, Science or a related technical discipline.
- Significant experience in product design and development within technology, engineering or consumer products.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex technical programmes.
Responsibilities
- Lead Floorcare development programmes from concept through industrialisation.
- Serve as primary technical contact across Engineering, Operations, Quality and Procurement.
- Align Malaysia-based development with Dyson's global engineering standards.
- Define development plans, resource needs and delivery priorities with project leads.
- Conduct technical reviews, risk assessments and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with partners in Malaysia for validation and production readiness.
- Manage technical risks and dependencies to maintain programme delivery.
- Translate product requirements into actionable workstreams.
- Ensure solutions meet performance, safety, quality and manufacturability goals.
