Job summary

Johnson Controls Building Technologies and Solutions Malaysia is seeking an experienced Security Systems Technician to maintain and support access control, CCTV, and VMS platforms across multiple sites. You will diagnose hardware, software, and network issues, coordinate with OEMs and vendors, and ensure SLAs are met.

A strong background in enterprise security systems is essential, with certifications advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering or related technical discipline.
• Relevant security certifications are an advantage.
• 3–5 years hands-on experience in Security Systems Service and Maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform preventive maintenance activities per contractual obligations and manufacturer recommendations.
• Lead corrective maintenance troubleshooting and fault resolution for security systems.
• Provide technical support and system administration for Access Control and CCTV systems.
• Support system expansion, migrations, and upgrades with site surveys and implementation planning.
• Prepare service and RCA/incident reports and maintain accurate documentation.
