Job summary

Johnson Controls in Malaysia seeks a Senior Sales Manager for Security Solutions to drive growth across targeted verticals. You will secure new projects, manage key accounts and meet sales targets through consultative and technical selling.

Reporting to the Sales Leader, you will coordinate with pre-sales, engineering and operations to deliver compelling proposals, designs and quotations while ensuring tender compliance and strong customer engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in electronic security systems (CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion, Integrated Security Solutions).
• Proven track record in project sales and achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Achieve assigned annual sales revenue and gross margin targets.
• Identify, qualify and develop new business opportunities in targeted verticals.
• Manage and grow relationships with consultants, system integrators, contractors, developers and end users.
• Prepare technical proposals, system designs, tenders and quotations.
• Conduct product presentations and solution demonstrations to customers.
• Negotiate commercial terms and secure contracts in line with company policies.
• Maintain strong pipeline management and provide accurate sales forecasting.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and pricing strategies.
• Support project execution teams during handover and participate in key client meetings when required.
