Job summary

Samsonite is seeking a retail store leader in Kuala Lumpur to drive personal productivity and team performance while delivering exceptional customer service.

The role requires leadership experience, strong communication, and the ability to manage a fast-paced environment, including nights, weekends and holidays. You’ll collaborate with the Store Manager to resolve issues and develop the team for growth.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in retail or service industry.
• 1 year experience in a leadership position.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and staff.
• Comfortable with flexible work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership, accountability for store and personal productivity.
• Contributes to setting goals and holds team accountable for productivity standards.
• Provides leadership through role modeling service behaviors and standards.
• Ensures customer issues are resolved in the store, and partners with Store Manager as appropriate.
• Consistently ensures all daily tasks are completed without negatively impacting service.
• Resolve conflicts with team members in a timely and productive manner.
• Inspires team to meet and exceed performance standards.
• Utilizes training to develop the team and coach other members.
• Develop plans to address key business issues and impact results.
