Job summary

Yanling Natural Hygiene Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Research and Development Executive to lead formulation development, design and improvement of health products.

You will review new ingredients, conduct stability tests, and work with the product team to ensure feasibility from concept to launch. The role requires a degree in science and at least three years' related experience, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Degree / Applied Science or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of related experience.
• Analytical with ability to collect, analyze information and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and review new products based on customer needs and research direction.
• Design, develop and improve new or existing products.
• Conduct stability testing to verify reliability and effectiveness.
• Research and test new ingredients.
• Review supplier ingredient information and propose ingredients to Marketing.
• Assist in troubleshooting manufacturing floor issues during R&D or commercial stages.
• Discuss process and technical requirements with the product team for new products.
• Monitor raw materials variation and recommend formulation adjustments.

Responsibilities

• Formulate new products based on customer requirements or internal direction of research efforts & review formulation based on feedback
• Design, develop and improve new or existing products
• Conduct stability testing to verify product reliability and effectiveness.
• Conduct research and testing on new ingredients.
• Review and study new ingredients information from suppliers and propose potential ingredients to Marketing department.
• Involve & assist in troubleshooting manufacturing floor issue during r&d / commercial stage
• Discuss with product team on process requirement or other technical requirement to new products.
• Monitor and conduct test for raw materials variation and recommend adjustment and modification to the formulation

Requirements

• Degree / Applied Science or equivalent professional qualification.
• At least 3 years of related experience in related fields
• Analytical able to collect and analyze information, problem-solving and decision making.
• Preference for candidates with experience in OTC products / generic product
