Job summary

Saraya Goodmaid Sdn Bhd is seeking a Product Development Executive to contribute to new product development from concept to commercialization, including formulation evaluation, testing, stability studies, and pilot trials. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams to drive timely launches.

You will analyze test results, prepare technical reports, and support packaging improvements and OEM development activities.

Responsibilities

• Participate in new product development activities from concept to commercialization.
• Evaluate formulations, conduct testing and stability studies, and run pilot trials.
• Assist market and competitor research to identify innovation opportunities.
• Liaise with cross-functional teams to facilitate project execution and timely launches.
• Analyze test results and prepare technical reports for product improvements.
• Develop packaging solutions, evaluate materials, and ensure product compatibility.
• Coordinate with OEMs for development activities, testing, and validation.
• Prepare project documentation and technical records for development work.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by Management.

Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy, or related Science

Job description

Participate in new product development activities, including formulation evaluation, product testing, stability studies, and pilot trials from concept to commercialization.

Assist in market and competitor research to identify innovation opportunities and support the development of new products.

Liaise with cross-functional teams to facilitate project execution and ensure timely product launches.

Analyze test results and prepare technical reports to support product improvements and continuous improvement initiatives.

Develop and enhance packaging solutions through the evaluation of packaging materials, specifications, and product compatibility.

Partner with packaging suppliers and internal stakeholders to drive packaging innovation, quality improvements, and cost optimization initiatives.

Coordinate with internal stakeholders for packaging testing, validation, performance assessments and ensure compliance with quality, regulatory, and market requirements.

Manage OEM development activities, including supplier evaluations, product trials, technical assessments, and validation programs.

Coordinate with OEM manufacturers and internal departments to ensure products meet quality, regulatory, and customer requirements.

Prepare project documentation, development reports, and technical records to support development and commercialization activities.

Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy, or other related Science disciplines.

Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience, preferably in the detergent, pharmaceutical, or cosmetic industry.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders.

Dynamic, proactive, and results-oriented individual with strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

Able to work independently as well as in a cross-functional team environment.
